one of the most absurd things in our society is the need to wear earplugs to concerts. there is literally no need for music to be played at levels that force you wear something that inevitably muffles and mutes it. no shitty artist should have the right to damage your hearing.

Dear people who write cooking instructions for hams:
It is NEVER "12-15 minutes per pound". At 275° F, it is more like 25-30 minutes per pound to hit 140° F internal.
I forget this every time, refer to that cooking guidance, and throw off my entire meal prep timing by multiple hours. Get better.
