It's taken a shitload of work and a lot of sweat and tears, but Underspace is now almost entirely data driven, and can support mods for a ton of stuff. Wanna port over ships from... other games? Go ahead with this upcoming update.

Coyote Time (letting the player jump a bit after they leave the ground) is huge for gamefeel.

Combine with Jump Buffer (executing a jump once they land if they pressed it a bit early) to maximize.

Bonus: spawn the jump particle at the last grounded position to hide the coyote time :)

Updated settings menu :)
I can now create new settings much more easily. In addition, all settings now use an Enum for value get/set (replacing the default string from the ConfigFile class).

I need to polish it, but I'm already happy with it :D

The Moon Car is part of the main props in the Cheese Moon Map(cara.app/post/b675aad...) for Rawmen, one of the 4 vehicles in the map inspired by a type of cheese, specially created to explore the cheese moon ground. 🧀
