Honestly whats more fucked up is less about it being easy or hard but more X goes as far as to *encourage* it. People throw around the the term "normalize" but that's what that shit is trying to do. You can't stop someone from disrespecting your work, but you *can* avoid encouraging people to do it.
"people can still download your art from bsky and feed it into AI" if gamer behavior has taught me anything, just one extra button press is more than enough to annoy a MASSIVE amount of people into not making the effort

You can't stop someone from disrespecting your work, but you *can* avoid encouraging people to do it.
It really is nice to be able to decide which feeds you have at any given time at the thread(#) selection menu. These are what I have pinned at the moment and it's good for me. If I wanted to change it I could do it anytime.

This makes the app a lot more tolerable but following more people than you normally would is key
If you switch to bsky it will be vitally important to not use the Discover feed and instead pin this one

Finally, if you're leaving Twitter, my advice is to not delete your account. Set your account to protected/private, download your archive, and just log out forever. Don't let some terrible person hijack your handle. Just make it empty, useless, non-profitable server space.
