A good friend of mine Chris Leach has just released a new rule set, Control to Catastrophe. This is an ancient to medieval rule set using a grid system. The first of 3 rule sets using the same basic system. Available at The Wargame Vault. #Wargaming #wargamingbluesky
Last night the White Rock Group played a made up scenario of Rapid Fire Reloaded Russian Front. The scenario was Germans hold 3 villages, Soviets take them. I played German using a battalion of Wehrmacht 20mm figures I painted up. The Russians rolled where to come on. They showed up behind our lines

Our group The White Rock Gamers put on 3 games from the RFR scenario Operation Market Garden book scenarios #1, XXX Corps Breakout, Scenario 2, Attack of Panzer Brigade 107, and scenario 5 Charge of the Paras. I didn’t get many photos of the other games as I ran scenario #2. All three games ended

Oct 29th 1943 the Battle Of Nevel outside Velikiye Luki my wife's grandfather was killed. My wife's mother is the little girl on the left. He was drafted as a cook as he worked at the Maggi factory in Cologne. He obviously transferred to a line company later.

My opponent managed to get numerous hits from 2 turns of arrow storm, this would not be good when it came to melee.
