This explains why they've been declining to take down anything I reported over the past 2-3 years.
This is downright criminal behavior. In any normal country, Zuckerberg would be charged and Meta servers taken offline just like Europol dismantled those scam networks this week

This piece suggests Meta is dragging its heels on reducing the (very large) number of scam ads on its services because they're concerned it will materially hurt revenue (the article estimates they make as much as $16bn a year from scam ads)

My 14-year-old self would never have guessed that, in 50 years' time, all the world's music would be available at the click of a button, you'd navigate the globe by carrying a tiny computer around in your pocket, and the US President would post a video of himself shitting over American citizens.

Back in August several academics raised concerns that a Deloitte report to government may have been generated using AI. Deloitte denied this and put the citation errors down to poor editing.
Anyway, Deloitte are refunding the government $440,000 for a report that was written using AI.

Let's be clear a what's happening here: the "censorship" and "bias" narrative is being extended to Wikipedia bc the far right knows that getting bullshit into LLMs is how to shape reality as "answer engines" replace search engines.

The recent commotion around Tylenol and autism reminded me how many neurotypicals are so uninformed about neurodivergence they think neurodivergent conditions (autism, ADHD, OCD etc) are some sort of plague that you can catch if you’re not careful enough.
