The success of ICE watch interfering with ICE’s mission is almost certainly why DHS keeps sending more agents to Minneapolis.
They used to execute their raids with just a few agents. Now they need 6-12 to even begin to disrupt the social pressure to be nonviolent.

An oddly encouraging assessment from Thomas Zimmer, who’s one of my key go-to writers for hard-edge historical realism about the perils currently assailing US democracy. But the images of crowds booing & jeering ✊ every appearance of ICE on the streets of Minneapolis would seem to back him up here.
The government is controlled by a fascistic movement that has turned the state into an authoritarian instrument. But so far, they have not succeeded at consolidating authoritarian rule across American society. They believe escalation via violent spectacle will get them there. I don't think so.
