I went to the MoMA in NYC recently and saw Sandra Mujinga’s “Flo.” It’s a hologram that uses the old Pepper’s Ghost trick and is accompanied by electronic music, and it really profoundly unsettled me. It appears at 1:42 in this video: https://youtu.be/OIofkCiC24I
