Trump's Transportation Secretary on how to improve air travel:

"People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly... We want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season, help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

I don't watch CNN (or any broadcast news, at this point), but I must ask: Is this the way they always present statistics? With this college football gameday approach? No one is "doing journalism" here.
Enten: "This is probably the worst 10 day period for the president in the polls his entire second term. The numbers are just atrocious ... when your best poll has you 14 points underwater, you know it's truly bad and it's as bad as 26 points underwater ... -43 with independents! They despise him."

COLLINS: Today you pardoned the founded of Binance. Can you explain why you did that?

TRUMP: Which one was that?

COLLINS: The founder of Binance

TRUMP: I believe we're talking about the same person, because I do pardon a lot of people. I don't know. He was recommended by a lot of people.

"Sir, there are additional packets of sauce right over here."
Trump: "No matter who you are, everybody loves something at McDonald's. I like the fish. Khhhhh. I like it. You could do a little bit more tartar sauce though please. Seriously."

“ . . . a 17-Year-Old was Exploited.” It’s simple. Quit playing games, New York Times.
'Matt Gaetz Raped A Homeless Teenager' is what you mean.

A teenager with a homeless parent? What? The fuck? Did she have a home and not allow her parent to live in it? Ended up having sex with? What? Yeah clearly you guys been caping for pedos long enough and you understand the assignment here
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

(🧵) This thread from a retired journalism professor who helped usher in the era of metajournalism in the 2010s—and has written a book on the relationship between Trump and Epstein as part of his NYT-bestselling Proof Series—explains how to report properly on the Trump-Epstein Scandal.

Here we go.

When you read the Epstein emails the same way you read the Bible.
Weija: Did the president ever spend hours at Jeffrey Epstein's house with a victim?

Leavitt: These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that president trump did nothing wrong.

“Lord, tell us, when were you hungry and we did not feed you?“

“I tell you truly, whenever you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.”

Trump’s DOJ makes one more effort to stop the states from feeding their people.
BREAKING: DOJ goes to SCOTUS trying to stop a district court order that USDA pay out full SNAP benefits this month.

The First Circuit denied an administrative stay, but has not yet ruled on the stay request. And, CNN reported that USDA is already processing payments.

DOJ went to SCOTUS anyway.
