The Pitt got greenlit for a season 3, out next February, and the announcement has very funny comment from HBO chairman Casey Bloys that’s like “yeah, turns out if you just make a TV show like how we used to make TV shows you can have a 15+ episode season every year 🤷♂️”

That's one of the reasons I made a bluesky actually, comics unlike Manga are kinda on the downturn so I really want to post and signal boost the stuff I like (especially non-superhero stuff since that doesn't get much recognition)
Yeah, completely agree. The creative markets right now are rough. In Comics, there are some really bright spots and hopeful trends, but a lot of the support systems that were there just three or four years ago are gone, making it way less stable and more competitive and challenging.

I'm thankful I have a pretty solid spot at the moment with Conan the Barbarian, but a lot of our friends in comics and prose (+animation, games, photography, theater and music - the creative arts as a whole) are struggling something fierce right now.

Just finished reading mark waids run on #theflash and all I can say is the fact this is the first big series he worked on is Insane. It starts out great and stays great the entire time, its filled with so much heart and optimism that you're immediately drawn into this world. #comicsky
