When I was 14 and on a Magic Card forum, my one British friend liked to ironically say USians. I adopted it for like a week. It was silly, we knew it was silly, and though I did start saying "from the US" instead of "American," there was no illusion that USians was going to Happen. It's silly!

I just learned about Mr. Fantasy from network TV and, instead of having questions, I want to rescind all my questions and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Just let the fantasy wash over you.

I often wonder how different my relationship with gender could have been if I weren't oblivious to / resistant to gender-coded behavior. Or like, which came first, you know.
So many men go through life like that. You can play poker because it's right-coded, you can't enjoy fruity alcoholic drinks because they're women-coded, you can't lick an ice cream cone because it's gay-coded. All day, every day, choosing and judging things based on coding for narrow norms.
