On top of everything, there's an element of human behavior that upsets me that goes like this:

- Problem arises
- "If we do THIS, the problem WILL go away!"
- THIS doesn't work
- AUGGHHH WE HAVE FAILED AND MUST FEEL AWFUL (or, worse, YOU HAVE ALL FAILED MEEE)

I'm all for people choosing to boycott things, but there's so much about performative boycotting that ranges from silly to disappointing to deluded
