Saw Bailter Space at that club that used to be halfway up Plimmer Steps in Welly and the tinnitus lasted a month. Thanks Brent.

Very good piece. Lots of receipts. The way this government operates is shady as hell.
Irrigation for agribusiness resulted in groundwater dropping in sand dune country near Bulls. Regional council tried to place restrictions to protect groundwater, but agribusiness is fighting back. Bishop's RMA changes gives irrigators more power, regulators less. www.greenpeace.org/aotearoa/sto...

-Westgold- 100% Chinese

When people get thrown under the bus I kinda respect it if they later bring the receipts and take everyone down.

Imagine if this led to the downfall of Hipkins and Mitchell

The country's newest fire trucks can not be used at rescues because they are too small to fit all the lifesaving gear they need to carry.

Who cut the $1000 Kickstarter? National
Who reduced the minimum contribution to 3%? National
Who reduced the member tax credit from $1040 to $521? National
Who then reduced the same member tax credit from $521 to $260.72? National.

Don't believe National on Kiwisaver.

This Axon Fusus system might be of interest to some of you. Aggregates feeds from CCTV, facial recognition, body cams, environmental sensors. Like a CIA office in a Bourne movie. www.axon.com/products/axo...

Opposition party(s) could maybe make a website where a voter puts in things they care about and it gives you ways that this Govt have let you down, like they've even let down ute driving fishingpeople! www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/3608...
Hundreds of cars and boats cross Auckland Harbour Bridge in protest over new law
A convoy of hundreds of fishermen towing boats crossed the Auckland Harbour Bridge on Saturday morning, though disruption appeared minimal.

I read this that the 1%ers don't like this kind of thing, but it's not actually so bad that they go as far as moving (ie it's not really impoverishing them, they just don't like the IDEA of more tax).
Hello #nzpol !
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

I'd quite like to see reports of dirtbags & creeps also cover what their internet & media diet is too. It'd be interesting to be able to map the poisoning y'know?

Someone net savvy should buy up coalitionofchaos.net or whatever and just run a permanent scroll of every thing that thing govt has botched or half-arsed. It'd be about a million pages.

So with Labour sticking with Hipkins while McAnulty is right there kinda feels like the All Blacks picking Luke McAllister over Dan Carter just to see if they can win without him.

Furthermore, I think Luxon should confirm now (seeing as he raised it) what he'd like to sell off. I reckon:
- water
- power
- health
- ACC
- Kiwibank
- NZPost
- Pamu
A mature conversation? Ok then. I sincerely think that politicians who have sold public assets without getting everyone's approval should be jailed for theft, and people who bought it should be done for receiving stolen property.

So to journos having reckons about Labour being tainted by TPM's issues, I ask have they honestly put the same scrutiny on NZFirst being infiltrated by cookers, or ACT being a local proxy of the atlas network and how that reflects on National?

Yeah. thought so.

Personally I don't think Nicola Willis really believes her economic policies will help average people. She knows it's all about the big end of town, lower taxes, having medical insurance etc etc. Saying she cares about jobs, cost of living etc, is an act I don't believe for a second.
