Alex Massie trumped up a fake campaign in the times to claim hundreds of rape convictions for women in the justice system were actually trans women despite the numbers covering several hundred more convictions than there are trans women in prison for any crime.
To understand how much Alex Massie actually cares about women's safety: when I called out his transphobe-in-arms Nick Cohen for multiple acts of sexual misconduct against cis women, which eventually got him sacked, Massie went berserk at me.

So until you firstly nationalise utilities, *and* upgrade every house not on mains gas insulation/heating system, & add solar panels, you can't solve this problem without people being cold, & those rural areas with the most wood burners, are colder than cities. 2/2

The issue is a) there are large swathes of rural UK not connected to mains gas, b) the cost of electrically heating your home is astronomical, c) the cost of oil heating is again high. With a stove you can keep one room of the house warm for a much lower cost. 1/2

None of my skills went away when I got two shotted by mental illness and long covid, I can still do most of the shit I used to be able to do - I just can't do it reliably enough that anyone will fucking pay me for it. My one good day a month is not maximally exploitable you see.
