Now we see what the gig is: Will DOJ release the files or will they claim their lopsided investigation into only Democrats (despite Bondi’s July statement that the evidence didn’t support any additional prosecutions) means they won’t release anything.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

I am sorry, but the first party to take up the banner of anti-corruption and accountability is going to have a hell of an easy time making its case and I honestly don't know why an opposition party isn't doing that already from every streetcorner they can.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Counterpoint: Having facts at hand to confront your interview subject with if they say things that aren’t true is actually called “journalism.”

When we stopped doing this, I’m not sure, but I’d kill to see Mike Wallace interview these guys.
Karl ambushed him. He had that diagram all ready to go when Hassett spouted nonsense. That's an elegant way to call bullshit on a bullshitter who ought to be shunned by everyone in the economics profession.

Hassett is a complete and utter hack.

THAT'S LITERALLY HOW THE SUBSIDIES & ACA EXCHANGES WORK ALREADY.

CONSUMERS ARE INFORMED BY COMPARING POLICIES ON THE ACA EXCHANGES, THEN THEY PURCHASE ONE AND THE GOVERNMENT PAYS SOME OR ALL OF THE COST OF THAT POLICY.

I'M TEARING THE LITTLE HAIR I HAVE ON MY HEAD OUT.
Cassidy: "The president is proposing that we take the $26b that would be going to insurance companies if we just do an extension and give it directly to the American people in which 100% of the money is used for them to purchase healthcare on their own terms. That makes them an informed consumer."

Ok, but in this same interview, she blamed the Epstein cover up on Israel, and called on CNN to platform Nick Fuentes.

MTG is not even CLOSE to earning forgiveness or redemption or trust. She's a huge horrible bigots who happens to be feuding with other huge horrible bigots.

The age of consent in the US is defined in law. It is NOT dictated by opinion or social norms.

But there IS the social norm of "half plus 7." Divide your age by 2 and add 7. If they're not that old, what are you doing? In the vast majority of those cases, it's just gross.
Megyn Kelly said she thinks “there’s a difference between a 5 year old and a 15 year old” when it comes to sexual abuse. Megyn Kelly has a 14 year old daughter. Megyn Kelly is going to Hell.

If you seriously think the reason it's so expensive to BUY a home is because of illegal immigrants, you are either (a) insanely stupid or (b) knowingly gaslighting people for political points.

You have to sign 5 million pieces of paper to buy a home. Do they think illegals are openly doing that?
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

AOC: How can we, as members of congress, Republican or Democrat, vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people? That is what this legislation does. In fact, Senator Graham said he was going to seek well over $1 million from the American people, from this.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.
