The only argument I’ve seen is that it’s priced more because it’s still technically a PC and can do things besides play games, but is anyone dying to, like, read emails on their TV?

That’s question I have. Especially when taking a loss to get console gamers into the Steam marketplace seems like such an obvious move.

What kills me is that they clearly did subsidize the Steam Deck to enormous success. They’ve got the most popular and beloved software platform in the industry. Throw this thing out there for $400 and completely dominate the next console generation.
