I made it for a game, but it's free to use.

I'm using the forgotten (but popular in 80s japan) Schroeder reverb algo, and some wobble.

the anime sfx-making tool! It's called ANIMEVOX, in big letters up top. Then there's the controls: In vertical pairs: Left: Pitch Rise Rise speed Reverb Room size On the right: Wobble Speed Wobble Amount Tone Brightness Volume Next is a row of keys: Randomize - randomizes the sound parameters UNDO/ REDO - go back to parameters you liked Export Wav - self explanatory, it saves a copy of the latest sound to your hard drive. Then the fun buttons, with cute art styles: IMPACT, sparkle, beam, powerUP, PON, BOOM, slash, woosh Each produces a preset sound, which then goes through the fx chain. Hope you enjoy it!

I've built rudimentary versions of this tech years ago and I know there's nothing intelligent about it. It's a glorified search engine and instead of presenting results as a list of entries, it outputs in something mimicking human dialog. Every app adding AI this or AI that is buying into a phony sales pitch, and almost all of it is just worse, less reliable versions of things we already have, because people think it's promising the future. It is only delivering lies, and no matter how good the tech gets it will never stop "hallucinating." This is not a thinking machine. It's not a learning machine. It cannot use empathy or reasoning. It is not capable of making logical decisions or actually holding a conversation any more than me painting faces on trash cans will do those things. It is large scale pareidolia on a genuinely frightening level, and people at the top of the chain are taking advantage of that to squeeze the world ever tighter, with little care for how it effects anyone else but themselves and their bottom-line. We already have reports that people who rely too much on this technology are damaging their ability to think and make decisions for themselves. They become so addicted to it that they cannot live without it for tasks they could accomplish perfectly fine less than two years ago. Is that normal to you? Why would you want to add that to your software? What problem does hopeless, pointless addiction accomplish for Discord? It's a real-life curse that is poisoning the world around us, and these people cannot break the spell. At the very least, consider the adage: Why would a human use something a human couldn't be bothered to make? Please keep Discord authentic and human. You are not "missing the boat" for being late on AI. You are not "behind the times" for being late on AI. Do not bend a knee for the next cryptocurrency. The next NFTs. You will be fine keeping your nose out of that mess, no matter how much you think it will please investors.
