Great policy resolving one of life's great headaches.
It’s time for THE charger.

Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging new mobile electronic devices in the EU.

It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need!

'My So-Called Life' at 30 - like Freaks and Geeks, one of those shows that as much as anything showed how casting agents knew what they were doing(and that writers were sometimes just ever so slightly too far ahead of the curve) www.latimes.com/entertainmen...

A man in board shorts is gingerly walking barefoot across a beach carpark on a hot day, wincing and muttering: "Shit. shit. shit. shit." under his breath with each step.
His partner calls from their car: Do you want your jandals?*
He replies stoically: Nah. I can take it.

Something I have remembered about “tours of duty” - normally involve extensive training. Get techies on training of “public service for the digital age”, the public sector accessibility duty, devolution, ethics - then a 6-12 month uk gov tour of duty will be more productive.

Something I don’t love about self-published books is when it’s also meant no professional editor. Symptoms of this I have seen over the years include:
- unreadable type (tho some small pubs are bad too)
- questionable assertions
- style guide mistakes (a name not being capitalised and so on)
