I like when puzzle games attempt to have stories. even if an ancient demon has been revived and brought about an endless rainfall that turns people evil, at the end of the day you still have to solve it by swapping peppermints and icecream cones

Watched that VarsaPura demo and I'm not sure if a game with that kinda style can succeed as a gacha. But I suppose Hoyo can actually afford to take a few risks

I think I could be suckered into playing an RPG where all you do is level up and collect gear and skills for characters without a single scrap of gameplay that makes use of them.
I don't need all that tactical combat, it's enough for me to know that the girl has an orichalcum-tipped chainsaw sword
