I always like to point out Montreal holds their Nuit Blanche in February. Hard core.
Though I walked 3 km along bloor this afternoon in windy -13C and there were a ton of people out, and bike lanes not empty. You live out in public in a real city, whatever the weather.

Due to rough winter weather, none of the Metro stations in Montreal have an open-air entrance to the outside.
This causes the entrance of many stations to act as wind tunnels, especially if you enter or exit while a train is entering or leaving the station.
