I just finished reading the 19th book in @seananmcguire.bsky.social ‘s October Daye series last night, “Silver and Lead”, after doing a series re-read this summer. They’re all great, and the titles follow a similar theme.

I think things like this are part of the solution. In the other part of the scenario the advantage in guerrilla type situation is that the 20 yo won’t know which civilians can turn into combatants at any moment.

It’s the official term in Quebec and it’s widely available there during the holiday season. It’s apparently the French name, not just Quebecois, but I guess it never comes up.
