Remember when Amazon held a sale during Independent Bookstore Day in an effort to undercut indie bookstores?

We didn’t forget. Support local bookstores during Small Business Saturday and beyond.

Saw #ImportanceOfBeingEarnest in London last night. #StephenFry was an excellent cantankerous old dame in full Victorian dress. The show is pure joy. Don’t miss it. The finale was something else!

This is classic NHS “wisdom” where they keep using a faulty test and then use that as an excuse not to test 😵‍💫
I got diagnosed too late because there is no screening process. I have stage 4 cancer and I will die a lot earlier than I should. I have two mates who got tested because of me and they found they had cancer and it was treated successfully. Now tell me why testing does not work?

When I’m looking for a way to relax my mind and get into writing mode, this grand dame’s succulent purring does the trick!

Wonderful wisdom!

The shame of Labour
Shabana Mahmood on the BBC this morning talking about desperate people fleeing war and persecution as being given a "golden ticket" and "handouts" and saying she's got a "moral mission" to take them away from them

Shabana Mahmood and the Politics of Extortion
Labour's strategy of telling its supporters to back Reform-style policies, or get a Reform Government, is the politics of the protection racket and it is not going to work

I met him while he was the patron of the National Society for the Protection of Children NSPCC) where I worked. A royal paedophile representing the most vulnerable children. On his visit to the NSPCC he flirted with a buxom colleague and I could see clearly even then the slimeball he is 🤮

Met both a child survivor and a previous war reporter on a trip to Mostar in Bosnia who both celebrated the British media for its coverage of the Balkan war and peace negotiations. A rare moment to feel pride as a member of the press!

Fascinating trip to Bosnia Herzegovinia. The Mostar bridge blown up in the Balkan war was rebuilt in 2004. Locals were annoyed Prince Charles opened the new bridge when it was Princess Diana who did so much to bring the world’s attention to the horrors of the conflict and stood in the minefield!

So, Sunday Times runs with latest poll showing Farage winning if there was an election now. But makes NO mention of Reform’s collusion with Russia. And this is how democracy gets beaten to death in the dark. Voters are not being told the truth. Reform is given the stage but is NEVER held to account.

I worked for the #NSPCC and met #PrinceAndrew at work. He leered at the chest of my buxom colleague. It now transpires he used the child safety charity as an excuse to go visit Epstein in the US. I’m sickened to my core!
