Hey #BOTY #Kikorangi, just a reminder from Peppy that I have a LOT of native bird enamel pins and sticker designs...while I may not have EVERY bird, I do give a portion of profits to Trees That Count every month.

Snag some goodies, support a local artist, and celebrate birds! pepperraccoon.com

Like quirky books with a puzzle? Then this is the book for you.
Strange pictures by Uketsu. A series of drawings and a puzzle that connects them. I loved it. It took me 3 days to read. Highly recommend it.

"Council funding hasn’t just covered the basics, it’s supported neighbourhood projects, opened spaces for people to connect and built stronger links between communities and decision-makers."
I have seen the multiplication effect of this many times! A tiny bit of money ripples on and on for ages.
I put on my Inspiring Communities pōtae and had a think about the upcoming elections; the current political climate; and why it all matters.

(With apologies to my regional council comrades, it is very territorial authority focused).
Why Local Elections Matter for our Communities | Inspiring Communities
It’s easy to overlook how much councils shape the places we live, until an election rolls around and the future of our pools, parks, libraries, and community programmes is suddenly on the line. With l...

Absolutely loving this book. Set in early 1960s America, it's letters between a food writer in Washington State and a fan in California and friendship formed by ingredients. Read it, it's great. ##pukapuka #📚

Over 20k have called for accountability for those belittled by our Dep. Prime Minister. This behaviour is designed to wear us down and make us feel alone. But we’re not alone. Let’s keep demanding our Government treats everyone with dignity and respect.

Hey Lovely

Can you do me a favour?
Can you unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders and roll them?
Now, can you stretch your body until you make that cute little noise?
Inhale 1 2 3 Exhale 1 2 3 4
Shake it all loose
Smile like you have a secret
Now have a good day on purpose

Luv you

We are heartbroken to confirm that our tuahine, MP for Tāmaki Makaurau, Takutai Moana Natasha Kemp, passed away this morning.

Even as illness weighed on her, she stood firm in the House, in our homes, on our marae fighting for Māori liberation.
