Just finished a research paper on the Colingy calendar. It was great—my next thoughts are NOT about the paper.
I just feel kind of sick thinking about how *frighteningly* quickly we have lost or become estranged to cultural traditions/festivals/forgotten things that were celebrated for centuries.

Excavated by Mrs E Proudfoot on behalf of the Ministry of Works in 1960.
