A long fucking day. Buried both of my parents today. I'm not really religious any more, but something the priest said that hit me was along the lines of "this signifies the end of life on our world as we know it, but our sister is with you God." and like it was a gut shot.

Went and played Star Wars Legion today, had a fun game, then I played Darktide.

It's weird, the Avatar set is way cooler than Spider-Man, but man I just don't feel any sort of way about it in either direction. Idk if it's general malaise, or I've hit a burnout point with magic.

Apocalypse World (and broader PbtA) was the first RPG system I looked at that wasn't a derivative of d&d/d20 with a serious eye when I real started branching out a decade ago. I missed the 2nd Edition KS, I will not be missing the 3rd.
