All I have ever heard about every news story from Bill Clinton to drag shows is “it’s awful, parents have to explain this to their children, why can’t we just let kids be kids?”

Now an entire classroom is going to go home to parents trying to explain why their five year friend was taken by the govt
Liam is one of four Columbia Heights, MN school district students who have been taken by ICE in the last two weeks, the school district said. Liam's teacher: “He is so kind and loving, and his classmates miss him. He ... just brightens the room. All I want is for him to be back here and safe.”

Many of us spend our daily lives trying to find safe places to pee. I hope these perambulating dumpsters never find a welcoming restroom.
Border Patrol agents are very sad that everyone in Minnesota hates them.

“At each gas station where the agents stopped to use the restroom, groups of agitators appeared, yelled at them, stalked them, and even tried to prevent law enforcement vehicles from leaving…”

Minnesota: "School officials say the [5-year-old] child was used as bait. They say [ICE] agents made little Liam knock on the door to ask to be let in in order to see if anyone else was home."

A five-year-old boy seized on his way home in Minnesota and now locked up in Texas. His family didn't know where he was for 24 hours.
Here’s the report from KARE. The boy is five-year-old Liam Ramos.

I've said before and I'm sure I'll say it many more times, no member of ICE should ever be able to live comfortably or in peace in this country. Their actions should stain them for the rest of their lives and they should find no sanctuary.

Call your reps. Let them know that if they vote for ICE funding, you will not vote for them ever again.

Representatives need to feel the heat. NO on ICE funding. No excuses.
So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.

There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.

Once it goes to the Senate we likely lose this chance.

24 hours. Go.

Yes it’s cold in Minnesota—but we embrace it. John and I were in Hastings with Mayor Fasbender for Hockey Day Minnesota to watch my alma mater, Wayzata High School, take on Rogers. Photo taken with parents right after their son scored a goal!

This picture broke me, but the description of this kidnapping by a witness who says ICE referred to this precious child as “it” as they took him away fills me with an unspeakable, murderous rage.
Sharing this report of ICE depravity from Facebook at the request of community member. This is from a suburb north of ICE-occupied Minneapolis.

The text is from her post on Facebook.

I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

This is why I'm proud to be represented in Congress by @ramirez.house.gov!
Our constituents are being surveilled, threatened, tear gassed, shot, subjected to warrantless arrest, kidnapped, and disappeared. 35 people have died in detention in ICE’s deadliest year yet.

ICE’s terror and violence need to end.

The weakest political position anyone can take is to refuse to stand for the rights and safety of the citizens of the country. Jeffries and the Democrats of his ilk are cowards plain and simple and unfit for office.

It'd be nice if "Trump Says Sometimes You Need a Dictator" was the headline that the US news organizations were running with right now, instead of "Trump won't use force in Greenland."
