Which is fine, I guess. Being a fan probably shouldn’t require knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, but being an adult of any sort should probably require some capacity for contextualizing information and deferring to authorities.

People also forget how insanely valuable a good quarterback on a rookie scale contract is. Fans’ opinions of Arch aren’t just misaligned with reality, they’re misaligned with how (good) front offices understand their cap sheet.
