The people who expect me to be at a @lankumdublin.bsky.social gig would possibly not have expected me to be at the Nick Cave gig (both at Kilmainham) or the Black Flag/Red Hot Chili Peppers and ACDC in Birmingham.

Bumped into a well known media operator yesterday who I’ve known for quite a while. They told me in good faith that I’m looked upon as “more trouble than it’s worth.”
While this isn’t news to me, it does speak to a close-ranks-play-it-safe mentality that is ultimately lowering trust in media.
