Dog has licked our cosy sofa blanket so much that I now get to spend Saturday morning stood in a little shed outside a petrol station (to prevent anyone dragging it out of the dryer and dumping it in the wet car park 😅) - huge blankets are nice, but better if you own a big enough washing machine...
