This, amusingly, excludes the one ACTUAL pig that lived in one of my regular client's homes. Clio was pretty rad and was litter-trained. She was HUGE (turned out she wasn't actually a pot bellied pig, but they loved her and kept her), very friendly, and disconcertingly smart.

I was a reasonably popular cleaning partner at Merry Maids, because when a big dude shows up the customers are often magically MUCH nicer. I did get a lotta men sneering at me, but I legit didn't care, because fuck 'em.
Also, lotta well-to-do people are absolute pigs in their homes.

I actually spent a couple years doing housekeeping in one form or another (cleaned motel rooms, worked for Merry Maids) in my late teens - I was very much the odd man (literally) out in a world dominated by well-to-do white women at the top, and women of color in the ranks.
