This is something that varies from person to person, but I personally find it much easier to spend time with people if we're focused on a specific activity together (e.g. boardgames or TTRPGs), so joining a gaming group was great for me. Try different things till you find what feels natural for you.

I learned the following in therapy that has helped a lot;
- It's supposed to feel awkward and uncomfortable at first, learn to experience these negative emotions without turning away
- Friendships take longer than you'd imagine to form (50+ hours of time together) so you need to be persistent

I don't know if it's the lamp or something else, but in the last month or so I've suddenly been sleeping much better. Gone from getting an average of 5.5 hours a night to an avarage of 7+ hours a night.
