I feel like capitalism has been directly attacking a lot of my Christmas food traditions this year. None of my local shops have been selling Matchmakers or the little chocolates you can hang on the tree, and I've barely had a drop of mulled wine, and ZERO mulled cider.

Why the hell do I keep seeing 'immersive sensory experiences' for events like the sinking of the Titanic and the final days of Pompeii? Who the hell is paying to go experience these horrifying events? Imagine if they did that for 9/11.

Going to guess that this has been an appalling Christmas season for London hospitality, given that every single company job board I monitor has suddenly stripped out all of their listings, even the ones that are permanently up like 'Barback' and 'Server'. >.>

Just watched Fantastic 4: First Steps. I'm fascinated by the MCU's decision to cast Pedro Pascal - arguably the most expressive, jovial man in Hollywood - as Reed Richard, the most stoic, unexpressive, and frankly dull character in all of Marvel.
They really nailed Johnny's insufferableness though
