Before i can explain the origins, I have to preface something first:

Play It Loud was mostly a US thing, certain bits of it went into the UK and some other parts of the world but it was US centered. Japan never saw this at all as far as I'm aware. In fact when I say "Nintendo", assume I mean NOA.

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.
