brandon sanderson does not say in his lectures "my way of doing magic is correct" but the framing does bias it
the sandersonian distinction only makes sense when discussing magic as just a worldbuilding or plot device. but since the laws only address those contexts, they appear more correct

every new thing i hear about querying makes it seem like equal parts intolerable hassle and self-devouring snake
if i ever do it i'm just gonna disregard all querying advice and go with the flow, and if that doesn't work oh well.
