I never thought about -why- right-wingers always accuse people trying to make the world a better place of “virtue signalling,” beyond my gut reaction that they're assholes or trolling. This, of course, is the meat of it. 👇👇
A big part of the current right wing belief system is that everyone is actually just as bigoted as they are, and are only pretending not to be as a public performance ("virtue signalling").

Congress shows no inclination of checking Trump on his Venezuelan power grab, so I worry Greenland is next. It will be up to a coalition of EU countries, once allies, to check the U.S.

My kid is 18, and because he grew up in such a digital age, handwriting we never given great emphasis, by the school, or by us. He can of course read (he's very bright and reads a lot), and can write (mostly legibly), but handwriting and cursive were secondary, even tertiary, to his education. 1/2
