If I had it to do over again I'd finish out my history degree, then get a culinary degree (local tech school has an excellent one), then set out to recreate food from any period of history that interested me.
Might finish the TV Production degree for YT or just open a restaurant, I dunno.

I feel like my adolescence would have been markedly different had I given the music I like now a chance back then. Or maybe I was just a different person then and had to become who I am now to appreciate it.

I know the timing prevented it, but man, Kiss From a Rose just feels more and more like it should be from The Crow and not Batman Forever.

Boy, North Carolina Republicans sure don't want the attached story to circulate. I sure hope that this stupid threat from their spokesperson doesn't boomerang on them and have a lot more people read and share the story, which once again, is conveniently attached below. That would be a shame.

I think "magic as a public good" is an interesting idea to explore. Especially from the point of "magic works are so ubiquitous those who benefit from them think they invented them and should be the ones profiting from them."
