I have since been informed that there is actually quite a bit of folk/punk crossover music, and no disrespect intended, but how? "Country punk" sounds as wrong to me as "Christian punk" (punk being anti-authority while Christianity is focused on submitting to your Lord?), but I know that exists too.
So I never found blending R&B with country as subversive as some seem to.
Now you know what would be REALLY subversive? Blending country with punk rock. Those are two genres that have NOTHING in common.

For one thing, I'd have more time to pursue my music career. So I'd still be just as hard at work, but I'd have a lot more passion and joy for life without having to worry as much about how I'll save up enough to live on my own or what music would make more money.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?
