Adam Buxton dropping 2018 David O’Doherty live in Dublin on a Monday morning. Yessssss. Turns out time travel runs on Stephen Roche’s 1987 Tour de France bike, not a DeLorean.
A surprise & delight to find this chat with the great Adam Buxton in my feed. He has a great song about bicycle pumps. podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/t...

But yeah so sorry you feel that the girlie pops are too woke at work, New York Times.
Please lmk in the comments what I missed. Like: my mental health in my teens & 20’s, the Rose Garden, etc

Not a day passes without me wondering: how much better would the world be if men just got out of the way?
Would love for women to ruin billionaires next.

Nothing humbles you quite like getting a “see you at 7pm” text when you’ve mentally committed to an evening in your pyjamas watching Oscar Isaac have a bath as Dr Frankenstein with a large tub of ice cream and the heating on full. Devastated doesn’t cover it.

Don't buy fucking Tesla.
Tesla now pays Elon Musk $100bn a year.
Tesla's 125,000 workers are paid $40,000 each average, $5bn a year.
He is paid 20x as much as every single worker at Tesla.
They could be paid $840,000 each instead.

I’ve now gone past a takeaway called Daddy’s Kebab twice, and twice I’ve failed to photograph the sign. I’ve let you down. I’ve let the double-entendre-loving public down. But most of all, I’ve let myself down.

Debating if I stick to my plans tonight or change plans. The possibilities are ENDLESS.*
(*They are not endless. The ticket is non-refundable, I already showered, I told myself I’d go, and the guilt would haunt me for weeks. I’m going. 😂)

I will never not ride an empty late-night Tube in my Breton with some breathy Taylor Swift song blasting in my AirPods like I’m in a Truffaut film, but instead of fleeing Paris it’s just the Overground at 11pm #maincharacterenergy

BBC News bulletins leading on the story of an Algerian man being mistakenly released by the prison service.
Funnily enough I don't remember these cases ever leading the bulletins when an average of ten prisoners were mistakenly released a month in the final year of the last Government

Zohran Mamdani polled +40% on men under 30. So we wasted all that time on all those think pieces about how we need a Joe Rogan for the left, when what we actually needed were *policies* for the left.

Dracula turns into a bat to avoid detection or for selfish personal travel purposes, whereas I would turn into a bat to pollinate local plants and help balance our precious ecosystem. Just one of several ways that I am morally superior to Dracula.

Started trick-or-treating early this Halloween round at the IT dept. My costume is “woman who makes eye contact” and absolutely cleaned up. A fixed laptop, a 20-minute explanation of their Warhammer campaign, and an invite back to their corner of the office. Proper result. Lovely fellas! 🎃👻
