If republicans voting for Trump were endorsing his actions, would voting for Kamala be an endorsement of the Democrats inaction 2020-24? It's so tone-deaf and self-centered to be blaming trans/anti-cop/anti-genocide voters (and non-voters) for the failings of the party

She and her team did this by, e.g., throwing a reactionary DNC filled with cops and Anti-Trump Republicans. Most notoriously, she spent October barnstorming with Liz Cheney -- a figure that nobody outside the DNC elite likes, and is hated by both the D *and* R bases.
This was dumb. 4/6

The best time to make comparisons to the Holocaust is *before* they start throwing people in concentration camps. We're already too late for that. Why teach about history if you're not willing to do this? Why remember it at all?

Not really. Walk down the street and ask anyone which party is liberal. Ask them to name a liberal and I bet names like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi will come up.
This is the problem with a 2 party system. We're forced to have a big tent that groups 1939 German Catholics and Bolsheviks together

What is the center position? Would you call Chuck Schumer, who whipped up enough votes to intentionally fund a fascist government and pay untrained goons to terrorize American cities a "leftist?" Because I certainly would not.

I'm not sure this is true. Mitt Romney would be considered a liberal by today's standards. Same with 2016 Rubio or Jeb Bush, I think. To define liberals as left-of-center, you need to define a center position, and I'd bet most democrats in Congress fall to the right of that.

Again, talking about ordinary government processes as if we're not living through a major political crisis creates the illusion of normalcy. It's counterproductive. We have a lawless, illegitimate president and we have to confront that fact, loud and often
