Woo hoo #Seahawks!
Happiest guy is Woolen. He won’t do that again.
Second happiest is the superfan in the Darnold jersey.

I thought the #Seahawks got rid of the stupid selfish penalties with Carrol and Metcalf out the door.
Woolen didn’t get the memo.
So dumb. So consequential.

Is this soft-capitulation by @pbsnews.org?
Your country is being systematically torn apart by a narcissistic compulsive liar who is mentally declining.
“Breaking norms” and “pushing peace”?
Every opportunity for people or organizations in power or influence to show courage, they fail abjectly.

This is why I would like to see more "building strength at home" talk in Canada that goes beyond AI, tax cuts, defence and fossil fuels. Inequality and lack of political opportunity makes us vulnerable to fascism from within and without.

You can draw a straight line from “alternative facts” to this, and it was aided and abetted by the American main stream media. History will be stupefied by the abject failure of @cbsnews.com.web.brid.gy, @nbcnews.com, @cnn.com, @nytimes.com et al.
Noem lies shamelessly: "An individual approached order Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic gun. The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently. This looks like a situation where an individual arrived to inflict maximum damage and kill law enforcement"

We Are Witnessing the Self-Immolation of a Superpower

It’s notable that the president can go on TV and be a total gutter racist, and somehow this isn’t news in the slightest. Says a lot about the sickness of American society right now.
Trump: "They're paid agitators and insurrectionists. Nobody talks about the fact that $19 billion at a minimum is missing in Minnesota, given to a large degree by Somalians. They've taken it. Somalians. A lot of very low IQ people."

Hard agree. The best cities I’ve lived in have been full of all different kinds of people. Places that are overwhelmingly single culture can be nice to visit but I think I’d eventually succumb to utter boredom living there.
I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

Good news. While imperfect, @cbcnews.ca provides valuable local coverage and employs many hard working journalists.
CBC News will add 33 local journalists and create 11 new bureaus, increasing its Canadian footprint from 66 to 77 locations. This "boots-on-the-ground" investment is in addition to last year's local expansion of 30 journalists in 22 communities across Canada. www.cbc.ca/news/editors...

An important and unsettling read. Thanks @radiofreetom.bsky.social for the gift link.
Danish and Greenland ministers just left the White House. It did not go well.
I have a long discussion here of Trump's attempt to get Greenland and why it could lead to World War III.
