Now that I'm finished with Mad Men, I decided to start Lost again. I'm hoping it "takes" because much like "Sixth Sense" once you know the twist, It's hard to rewatch it, but given I've only seen it once, I could be entertained. It's background, anyway.

Still rewatching Mad Men while I work (almost finished). It blows my mind how much Don Draper reminds me of my dad. I wonder how many Gen X kids have Don Draper dads. He grew up poor, was a creative, clever man. He was also a drinker and a playboy, but he was also cool as hell. So yeah, Draper Dad.

Still rewatching Mad Men; they just mentioned the Smothers Brothers. This always reminds me of my mom, who apparently dated one of them in college, though I can’t remember which one. 🤷🏻♀️ (only oldish people will remotely understand this post)

One of my favorite little movie tricks is when they pan the light to give the effect of time lapse, day to night, that kind of thing. It’s old school, but effective in a charming way.

Woke up to find 🍊signed the bill. It feels like a sad trombone; we will never see anything about him, or we will just see a bunch of Dem stuff. I don’t care if Dems are in there, roast them too. That said, it demonstrates to his base what a shifty piece of shit he’s always been.

There needs to be (if there isn’t already) “smart batteries.” Like, AA batteries you can sync to a remote or Alexa or something. Mostly I just want it for things like my battery-operated midmod Xmas village. Turning on and off 12-14 different little houses at bedtime blows. #oldbitchproblems
