none of my business whether this is "sincere." album coming out soon, sure. that said — mania makes people say and do awful life-ruining shit. there's no easy, neat answer to what extent someone is "responsible," esp not w/in the socially sanitized definition of what mental illness "looks like."
Ye, formerly Kanye West, has apologised for his “reckless behaviour” and antisemitic remarks in a full-page advert in The Wall Street Journal.

Ye said he “lost touch with reality” due to his bipolar disorder and that he “said and did things I deeply regret”.
