somewhat related, i have an old (cishet) buddy who's long term partner ftm'd recently and he was like "hell yeah I guess im gay now so I can say [f slur] again." lol
my boyfriend started calling me his boyfriend at work and it kind of feels like someone lifted an enormous boulder off my entire body and i can suddenly move. coming out as trans and living it is an extremely intense experience and there's a lot of pain and also so much joy it almost hurts too
