Because when you go 4K, you need a *lot* stronger parts if you want to play the newer games to let it cope with shit. And the visual gains are absolutely minimal despite the huge performance increase required. I went from 4K60Hz to 1440P 165hz and it was *incredible*.
Much more worth it.
