I think the biggest pitfall of sci-fi/fantasy storytelling, especially for worldbuilders, in the infodump.
You're (rightfully) just so proud of all the work you put into creating a cohesive setting that you just wanna PUKE it all over readers/watchers on page one.

Trains operated with two units up front, 98 cars in the middle, and two more locomotives at the rear, and fought grades up to 1.5% on the 81 mile route. They also utilized an unconventional 50kV 60hz system that allowed them to power the whole route with just one substation

the worst part of growing up and trying not to be a mentally ill teenager anymore is that unfortunately half the time i still feel all those same irrational feelings of hurt and anguish, i'm just grown enough to realize it's over absolutely fucking nothing

im going thru my yearly phase of wanting to delete all my socials because i have somehow convinced myself i am bad at posting about transformers. it's crazy bc this is despite the actual reason for this (i work in a building with no windows so i get approx. 30 minutes of sunlight a day in winter)
