Nonprofit education professional, helping educators meet the needs of adult learners all over the state of Minnesota. Geek, gamer, baker and mother of one fantastic teenage boy. Proud resident of Minneapolis.
Went out to dinner last night with some friends to the Ecuadorian restaurant in my neighborhood and they had the SB on, so we watched and OMG that half time show was 🔥🔥🔥. The only thing more powerful than hate is love! 💕

I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.

Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”

In response to a great deal of ICE activity in our Minneapolis neighborhood of Longfellow, we are standing up for our neighbors who need immediate relief – and we’re asking for your help. Please help keep families in their homes this winter. Visit neighborrelieffund.org to learn more and donate 💜

When ICE takes videos of protestors & says "We have a nice little database. Now you're considered a domestic terrorist."

Minneapolis replies: "Hey asshole, you're going to need a bigger fucking database."

Hey, nice job with the protests today, kids.

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

One thing I hope people take the time to acknowledge: The sea change in public opinion has been achieved because violence, though encourage by a lot of people here online, was never once employed by the movement. Violence was solely the purview of the state and that is why the state is losing.

Good morning, Minneapolis. To the brave watchers on the corner where I drop my kid off for school: you are heroes. I see you stamping your feet trying to ward off the frostbite in the -12 degree weather. I see your courage to put your body between kids and masked goon squads. Thank you.

Minneapolis is winning. The tide is shifting. Can you feel it? It’s their Gettysburg. The first Minnesota is charging down the hill, bayonets drawn. This is their furthest advance and they will go no further. WE ARE GOING TO WIN
