If you don't think voters need to be prepared for the possible effects on the cost of living *the thing all polls tell us people care most about,* from this crisis you need to get out more. People need to hear this stuff.

Surely anyone listening to Starmer now and capable of comparing him to Johnson, Badenoch and, above all, Farage cannot fail to see he's in a different, higher league.

I spoke to the Secretary-General of NATO, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Giorgia Meloni.

Together we stand firm in our commitment to uphold the sovereignty of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

Just a naive question: Could NATO (which would obviously include Trump and USA) undertake to ensure the security of Greenland?

Brits measure their wealth on the value of their house. It’s a weirdly British phenomenon. It’s been 10 years since we’ve seen a decent growth in the market.

Much of this is demand. Interest rates down, mortgage eligibility has been improved, wages are up, job security improved.

Thanks Labour

It must be a hell of a wake up call for Tories and Reformers this morning. Their hope must be dwindling.

On the other hand, news of largest rise in property prices in a decade, inflation coming down and services creaking to function again I’m delighted with Keir & Labour.

So it sounds like Farage is feeling the pressure over his previous praising of Trump.

He's running scared and cancelled an appearance on the BBC this morning at short notice.

Farage and Reform are on the way out! Time for the country to reject him entirely, once and for all.

Farage’s behaviour and cowardice is inexcusable. He’s made all the wrong choices and either he stands by Putin and Trump or he apologises and says he’s got it wrong.

Who wants a coward to lead our country?

From the dog ate my homework school of excuses. FFS he will be saying he had to visit Clacton next.
🚨 Update on Farage’s no show at high profile interview with Kuenssberg today

A sick note from Reform Chairman Richard Bull arrived saying “Nigel is very poorly” and too sick to discuss Trump threatening UK with tariffs

However he will recover in time to go to Davos tomorrow 🤔
Farage is apparently 'under the weather' today and unable to talk about the US threats to the UK and Europe over Greenland.

Which is unfortunate.

There was, of course, absolutely nothing to stop these Tories resigning when their own Party was literally in the middle of doing all the things they now claim to be so unhappy about.

Nothing to see here folks, just a sitting president investing in two companies whose merger he claims sole authority to approve or reject. Totally normal! 🙃

'Trump announces plan to hit UK, Denmark and other European countries with extra tariffs over Greenland'

The countries in question should slap a tax on American citizens trying to enter them.

If this greedy and ridiculous man were to become Prime Minister, he'd be responsible for our security, safety, our NHS, our economy, and the welfare of our children.

Meanwhile he can't be bothered to do even basic checks on the Cameos that rake in £141,000 for him

The news today?

Reform = backwater for Tories who failed over 14 years. 🥸

Tories = weak and divided by more psychodrama. 🤪

Labour government = waiting lists in our NHS drastically reduced and economic growth up. 🌹
