This is where I write something which refers to a single ep of television that aired in 2009 -- then never change it for the life of the platform.

She/Her
Minneapolis, MN
Pinned
When I have time, don't know when, I'm going to write a thread that explains this is/was my TV account(for ~17yrs)
I hope my far flung friends mute what words they need to not be bothered by all the local politics I'm posting. I feel like the upcoming elections are existentially important so I must.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

When I submitted a ticket to 311 for this sidewalk it was closed a few hours later as a duplicate request.

If I’m in a wheelchair or out with a stroller I’d rather know when it’s cleared so I can get back to my routine. Surely we can setup batch responses to tickets related to accessibility?

As we mourn Rob Reiner, don’t skip this: he was, pretty much, personally responsible for overturning California’s Prop 8 banning same sex marriage.

Rob Reiner: I'm going to make a coming of age drama, a fantasy adventure story, a romantic comedy, a psychological horror and then a courtroom drama.

Us: Across your entire career?

Reiner: In a 6 year period.

Us: That sounds-

Reiner: -Each one will be arguably the best movie in that genre.

We are supporting a number of places who have recently opened as warming centers also! MIWRC has opened for the weekend and could absolutely use more support than the supplies we sent over yesterday.

Also harder for people distributing essentials like cold weather sleeping bags to FIND everyone when people have to move every day.
Keeping people warm is a lot harder this year with the mayor preventing people from forming encampments. Can you imagine being out there and not being able to come together and work collectively?

Deeply disappointed to hear that the BBC has pushed out one of the most brilliant presenters in all of science communication for speaking with integrity and honor in support of human rights and dignity.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Looking for an *L.A. based* artist who (against all odds) has time for a poster gig before the end of the year.

It's for a science + art event.

We can offer $500 for the gig.

Dreadfully sorry about the timeline. Link a portfolio if you're interested, I'll delete this post when we found someone.

Changed use of force policies to include brandishing a weapon. Oop that has not changed one bit.

banned "warrior" training. the police union found a way around it.

I have a grand total of zero patience left for the top paid city staff in charge of community safety not being able to answer basic questions about crime trends and personnel allocations as we deliberate our budget.
Worth watching not just because it's fun. The Frey admin choosing to implement the budget priorities of their friends over their foes is not how the council's power of the purse is supposed to work.
