It’s interesting how it seems like there’s stagnation seeped into tech now a days. I guess the goal is preventing change to keep the current status quo, but the funny thing about trying to preserve something is that it will always eventually change.
It may just be in a way no one wants.

I'm a weird mix of The Worldbuilder and The Factory. The fact I've managed to make a singular universe for most of my OCs is uhhh... Concerning I guess? It makes for good writing though I guess.

It’s fascinating to me how there’s mantras like “pain is weakness leaving the body” and I’m out here doing consistent exercise and boxing only to destroy my arms in a game of volleyball :T

Hmmm, I've been working on a new writing project and have been debating how far exactly I can push the genres and standard aspects of sci-fi and fantasy fiction. Maybe just descend full tilt at the end?

After one that was pretty meh in my childhood, I made my username on everything SomeRandomBat due to a character from Blazblue. Got tired of that, however, used a starbound inspired username for a while, then just replaced the Bat with Axolotl, my fav animal, Random was cut after :)

When I was younger I wanted to come up with a sci-fi plant for my stories so I took the first 2 letters of 'Du'ne and last 3 of ji'had' and slapped them together then that just became my forever name online.
'Dune: The Butlerian Jihad' was in my small audio book collection.

When I started my time in the pony fandom, I figured I'd need a new username to be more memorable, since no one would remember ace(a bunch of numbers).
After a month of consideration, I came up with acesential. A pun of ace + essential.
Most people end up reading it ace sentinel.

Even though #GDC is a professional development conference, the dress code is relaxed and there’s a lot of fun outfits. That make me curious though, I wonder if people have cosplayed here before.
