Since when are tv camera men allowed onto the pitch after a goal?!

Not only do we VAR taking over, for the sake of the tv viewers we have them encroaching on pitch with no respect for the hallowed turf

Really? This season he's given 2 red cards in PL games, 1 to Palace. He's given 7 yellows to Palace, 2 more than the next highest club. He's awarded 2 penalties against Palace in 3 games, the highest per game. Overall isn't much better - highest pens and yellows per game among current PL sides.

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

Bumping into established cold air = heightened risk of more widespread snowfall and accumulation. Something we’ve not seen in quite a while. (2/2)

Modelling seems to be growing more confident on a quite active feature tracking SE’wards from N Ireland to N Wales through Midlands and on to London & Home Counties. Feasible it could produce a light covering fairly extensively. So stay tuned. #uksnow

From tomorrow we will only be going up for next 181 days….

Today is the tenth and final day of earliest 3.51pm sunsets 🌆 in London. Mornings will continue getting slightly darker through to early January, but afternoons will start getting lighter only very gradual at first.

Good trends I’d say midnight Christmas Eve last 3 EPS runs newest to oldest. Ridge has gained more latitude with lower heights in Med & lower heights more vacant in Greenland.

I can’t see big day delivering anything white but still scope for things to become cold rather than chilly. (1/2)

November 2025 was a mild month in #London with average temperature of 9.6C +1.2C above 1991-2020 average.

It could have been much more extreme. The first half was record breaking "warm" the second half overall was colder than average.

With this and the approval of the transparently bogus Forest trust arrangement, Uefa can at least claim that they took decisions based on what the paperwork said, and that clubs can get away with anything if the paperwork is in order.

Occasional reminder that there are few things better and more energising than walking through central London, tipsy after a great evening out. I will never not be proud that this is a city where people come to from all over the world to make a better life for themselves.

Just had to slowly repeat myself to a Manc in the pub to be understood and suddenly quite taken by the idea that my south London drawl (think Gary Oldman in Slow Horses) is as incomprehensible to people from not there as my Glaswegian relatives were to me as a child.
