* Decent thriller but goddamn do the characters say goddamn way too goddamn much

* Good retelling of classic story but a bit long.

* Tension-free gambling addiction parable. Not for me.

* Nothing super about this one.

Old western I”d never heard of and wasn’t bad at all.

E.T for adults

Medical ethics thriller - good idea but poorly executed. More realism would have made it decent.

Still don’t know wtf to make of 28 years later. With hindsight should have been 2 stars.

Just finished Black Rabbit on Netflix. Never knew Jude Law had it in him 👏

Any window fitters about? What's the best way to find the source of a whistling sound on the outside (I think) of a window frame? It is driving me doo-lally in this wind. Can't see anything obvious, but haven't been up a ladder to look closer yet.

Ngl a lot of The Hack was hard to follow but didn’t stop me liking it.

Now for Black Rabbit.

Today:

2 hours dog walks. No problems.

2 hours gym. No problems.

40 mins vacuum the house … absolutely fucked me up. Get a defibrillator.

God knows I want to break free.

Just watched 28 Years Later. Might take me 28 years to decide if I liked it.

Poverty, slums, nonces, prisoners of war, misery.

Quite disappointed with Red Rising in second viewing, remembered it as being better than that.

One of the things we're trying to do at poppop.studio is find a better way to fund SEND and AP projects.

I'm wondering about sponsorship, for example for a new Parent Carer Forum website.

Would this work? Where would we find sponsors?

Brentford could stitch their keeper’s eyes shut and we still wouldn’t score. Turgid stuff.

Five pleasures in life:

🐾 Cuddles with dogs (not so keen on slobberers).

🎵 Discovering you like something in later life that passed you by earlier (music in my case).

⚽️ Playing football. I miss it 😭

💉 General anaesthetic

🫖 Tea
Five pleasures in life:

The first beer after driving 500 miles.
Typing in a complicated wi-fi password correctly first time.
Reflections in puddles.
A wood plane cutting a wafer-thin, even shaving.
Perfect roast potatoes.

(Also, loved ones, pets, flowers in spring, blah, blah.)
Five pleasures in life:

-my morning coffee
-when a dog wants to come and say hello to me
-a good cuddle
-being snuggled up in the warm when it’s raining outside
-ice cream

Another day spent wondering when I’m going to be redundant (not made redundant) and whether I’ve got enough energy left to start from scratch in my 50s. Or does a life as the new Jim Royle beckon?

Corruption and pedos in Yorkshire, weak danny dyer revenge film, almost unwatchable low budget film that was actually funny in places, and a decent western.
